Yelp.com Picks Best San Diego Boutiques

It's never too early to start your holiday shopping. Yelp.com, an online review forum, highlights some of San Diego's hottest mall-ternatives this year. The web site recently sent out a survey to a couple thousand respondents, to find out about what was important to them while shopping for gifts this season. 90% of respondents said when shopping for the holidays it's important they find affordable gifts. They also said they want to support local businesses. Shoppers chose House Boi, Make Good and Junc Boutique as three of the best places tin San Diego to shop for gifts this season. House Boi, which is located in Hillcrest specializes in men's clothing and home decor. Junc Boutique and Make Good are located right next to each other in South Park. Both carry items for men and women. All three places have unique one of a kind gifts. "Our premise is everybody is a local artist from either San Diego or Tijuana," said Brittney Yackley an employee and artists at Make Good. "We make everything out of recycled materials."

House.Boi turned 3!
Last night House.Boi turned 3! It was a great party with DJ Marcel Hetu, 6 GoGo Boys, H.B. Models, hors d'oeuvres by BITE & BAMBOO LOUNGE, 2 open SVEDKA vodka bars, drag performances by Disco Dollie & Jizzona Straynger. Part of University Avenue was lit with House.Boi’s signature green and the party mood was set with GoGO Boys dancing to the music. The appetizers flowed as did the drinks and everyone had a great time. Congratulations Ari on 3 years and a great party!
